O/E/N Technology Innovation Award function (Grand Finale) was held at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science in coordination with MITS/IEEE & OEN Team. NSS College of Engineering Palghat was awarded the Grand Prize of Rs. 1 lakh & Gold medals. Consolation prizes of Rs. 20K each & Certificates were awarded to the other 6 finalists.
Over the last few years, India has been performing well on the Global Innovation Index and, consequently, India holds the distinction of being among the most innovative countries in Central and Southern Asia and ranks among the global leaders in some key parameters like the number of graduates in Science and Engineering, the quality of universities, etc. India has also made improvements in the overall Intellectual Property environment.
To foster innovation among the Graduate Engineering students in India, O/E/N introduces a unique annual competition for the Final Year Engineering students from the Colleges across India. Their course projects can be related to the theme announced by O/E/N and the winners will be awarded by O/E/N at a grand function.
